Who we are
A new, independent, member-run dog club for Columbus and the Chattahoochee Valley, founded in 2026.
An all-breed club
We welcome every dog: purebreds and mixes, rescues and working dogs, puppies and seniors. What we have in common is that we love doing things with our dogs, and we want them to be happy, confident and well-mannered.
What we do
- Monthly meetings with educational programs, and guests are always welcome
- Free pack walks for members in parks around Columbus
- Free group training sessions for members
- Agility, Fast CAT and scent work
- Referral lists of licensed trainers, boarders and groomers and responsible breeders
Run by our members
We're independent and member-run. Have an idea for an event, or something you'd like to learn at a meeting? Tell us.
Where we're headed
Bringing GRC Dogsports to Columbus
Our big goal is to grow large enough to host GRC Dogsports trials here in Columbus. GRC stands for Gameness, Relationship and Control.
Every dog starts with a Social Responsibility test of obedience and good manners. Then come the drive events: mill race, weight pull, spring pole and wall climb. It's a sport that rewards a confident dog and a strong partnership with its handler.
Hosting trials takes members, volunteers and equipment, so every new member helps get us there.
Connection
Training builds trust. Everything we do is about a stronger bond between you and your dog.
Fair handling
Proven, humane methods that build confident dogs with drive and purpose.
Heritage
Herding, hunting, running and searching. Every dog deserves a chance to do what it was bred to do.
